The Affect of 911
Nobody is doing any foreign banking and living in this country. We do not even return calls anymore if the topic comes up about foreign bank accounts. Therefore, transferring funds there to here is simply out of the question.
The world stopped communications and transfer of funds. This shut down large blocks of commerce. Nafta is moving to an European agreement with the Common Market, and this is the one bright spot since GATT, and might bring things back on track.
In short, the spin doctors are in control, and if you want to have some fun, put an ad in the newspaper that Naif Al-Sadhan is a new CEO in a public company in the USA, and has loads of money in foreign bank accounts. I am joking here, and please do not do this, since I am certain that you would know the results of this type of media. You know what the lawyers, media and politicans would do with this information, right? Commerce lost and still trying to recover $5 trillion that vanished in a few hours. I doubt that we should recover from this in the next ten years.
Bush's budget disaster in New York
Bush recently unveiled his reckless plan to privatize Social Security, and now he's touting a budget that slashes key programs that help New York's working families.
Bush plans devastating cuts to America's top priorities, from homeland security to health care to education to benefits for veterans and much more. Despite these cuts, this budget is a fiscal disaster, with Bush's trademark irresponsibility pushing America deeper into the red with another record deficit.
And this budget is a huge disaster for New York. Here are just a few of the cuts New York faces under Bush's 2006 budget:
Homeland Security
- The Bush 2006 budget cuts $420 million to state and local funding for homeland security, including a $49.4 million cut for New York. These cuts will take police and firefighters off your streets.
- The Bush budget cuts the COPS program, which has put 11,927 officers on New York streets, by 96 percent.
Health Care
- The Bush budget cuts $45 billion from Medicaid, enough to provide health care to 1.8 million children. New York's share of these cuts is $6.1 billion.
- Bush's budget cuts the very same community and rural health care programs he touted during the campaign.
Education
- Bush underfunds his own No Child Left Behind Act by $13.1 billion in his budget. In New York, that means a shortfall of $1 billion, leaving behind 296,648 New York children.
- Bush promised to fund Pell Grants in his State of the Union address, but his budget is $6.6 billion short. That's $508.8 million less than what's needed in New York, a real burden for the 358,375 students in New York who receive the grants.
Other Priorities
- Bush cuts $9.3 million from New York job training programs in his 2006 budget.
- The Bush budget would require many veterans to pay a new $250 annual "user fee" to use the Veterans Administration health care system, and would double the prescription drug co-payment for the 1,361,164 New York veterans.
- Bush cuts New York clean water programs by $42.7 million.
- Bush's 2006 budget also cuts the Low Income Heating Energy Assistance Program -- which helps low-income families afford heating fuel in the winter -- by $234.4 million, including $29.3 million cut for New York residents.
And Bush's irresponsible budget is a record $427 billion in the red, increasing each New York family's share of the federal debt by $37,870.

Ali Enjavi New Poems

On Sunday afternoons in the middle of July
I like sitting in the sun just looking in the sky.
I like listening to the birds singing in the trees - in July.
I hate going to work when the sun shines
Or standing in the rain.
I hate queuing at a bus stop,
Or trying to read a paper on a train.
On cold December mornings I like walking through the snow
I like watching all the people as off to work they go.
I like dozing in a chair, without a care - in December.
On rainy April days I just like sitting at home.
I like reading a book or simply being alone.
I like thinking of you, and all the things that you do - in April
But most of all I like loving you.
You're a Sunday afternoon, a December morning too.
You're an April day, sunshine in June
*****************
While I am I, and you are you,
So long as the world contains us both,
Me the loving and you the loth,
While the one eludes, must the other pursue.
My life is a fault at least, I fear:
It seems too much like a fate, indeed!
Though I do my best I shall scarce succeed.
But what if I fail of my purpose here?
It is but to keep the nerves at strain,
To dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall,
And, baffled, get up and begin again,--
So the chace takes up one's life, that's all.
While, look but once from your farthest bound
At me so deep in the dust and dark,
No sooner the old hope goes to ground
Than a new one, straight to the self-same mark
Equal civil rights for everybody in the USA

I HATE GEORGE BUSH AND THE USA GOVERNMENT'S AGGRESSIVE POLICIES BECAUSE:
1- Not only have not Bush's domestic and foreign policies lessened the threat of terrorism, but also have caused an ever increasing state of fright and insecurity for the Americans and others elsewhere. Under the pretext of fighting off the terrorism, there has been a drastic decline in the status of people's freedom to the point that by utilizing mind devastating political propaganda and caging in the various forms of freedom in America, the so called terrorism nightmare has become Bush's prime means of sovereignty over every aspects of the American life!!
2- THE middle class of the American social strata which comprises the majority of the population have lost it all during bush's reign.
- Unfit and mistakable economic policies of bush and his administration hare surged up the unemployment rate to its highest level ever in America.
- The act and practice of imposing takes by the bush administration has began designed and put into effect ass in favor of the rich and to the detriment of the middle class.
3- The senseless, foolish and violent military attack to IRAQ has reached to a point that the catastrophic situation in IRAG has and its unfavorable and adverse effects and influences in every walk of life in America.
- Hundreds of international security experts in US have corned the case of IRAQ the most perverted and misleading American policy adopted by an administration since the war in Vietnam.
- Americans really do not deserve to witness anymore tragic and calamitous scenes born in the name of a foolish war.
- George W. Bush is by now well known to be the real culprit in formulating the war on IRAQ, And that he lacks any clear cut policy in establishing the safety of the American soldiers and the people of IRAQ as well.
4- Mr. President's economical breakthroughs for the United States have meant a 4000 dollar budgetary defeat for every American.
- The US balance of trade in the going year has reached an unprecedented 412 billion-dollar deficit. In other words. The sum total of the deficit has now touched the astronomical figure of 7400 billion dollars.
- The total indebtedness of the country brought up by the gifted bush's administration has worsened uear after year, as it's been 5.9, 6.7 and 7.4 billion dollars in 2002. 2003 and 2004 respectively
- During the bush's presidency the us balance of trade has shown a rising trend exemplified by a deficit balance of 40 billion dollars in august 2003 compared to 54 billion dollars in august 2004.
5- I (Ali Enjavi) have consulted some returned and injured American soldiers from IRAQ about this unwarranted war. I advise you do the same. Those whom I talked to have all become in opposition to this gloomy war. They all will tell you how the nation was deceived into entering unbalanced war, and, not knowing who the enemy is, hoe they are left forgotten. They all will tell you how almost impossible it is to exactly quantify the number of severely injured soldiers returned home from IRAQ without a limb or tow, blind or deaf, insane or disillusioned. They all will tell you why bush accompanied by have never cared to have their pictures taken with those invalid soldiers. They all will tell you that it is the ultimate act of treachery to mobilize and equip men and women with high tech and dreadful weapons to fight out a war in a far out place and make the face the harassment of IRAQ partisans, and in the end have them return home invalid either physically or mentally.
6- George W. Bush, dick chenney, and Ramsfeld, With dishonesty and falsification of facts imposed the war on IRAQ as they did the same in the presidential election year of 2000 and 2004.
With the cold war ended, and with the removal of the communism danger, the embezzlement of taxpayer's money in billion of dollars and purposes have all been thoroughly unaccountable. As such, bush has nor only tricked.
- While the gradual process of drawing off the tax revenue goes on, pocket thieving of the sick, the children, the elderly, the homeless and the unemployed still prevails. These people and the others, who were looking forward to a more fruitful life after the gold war, now see all their hopes and dream washed away and blown into the sky.
